C.J. Kimberly moved to the islands in 1970 from New York City where she worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in the Commercial Lending Division and attended graduate school at New York University Graduate School of Business Administration. She started in Real Estate in Kona in 1972 with Ron Burla & Associates and became a Broker in 1975. In 1978 she helped open the Kona office of Bradley-McCarter LTD. and served as Broker-in Charge there. She started her own company, C.J. Kimberly Realtors, in 1980 and had her office at the Kona Inn Shopping Village for 5 years until 1985 when she purchased and remodeled her own office building located near the Royal Kona Resort on Kahakai Road.
C.J. has as extensive list of long time and faithful clients who buy, sell and have her manage their properties. To assist her clients in buying and selling real estate, C.J. uses her expertise of property values combined with her knowledge of the market, the lending situation, escrow and title and real estate investment to protect their interests. She strives to give excellent service, representing her clients’ best interests and always serving with integrity.
C.J. has been on the Board of the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors for 8 years. She was also the Vice President of Organization for the Kona Outdoor Circle, which beautifies the Kona Coast and educates its members, the general public and school children about gardening, plants, flower arranging and keeping Hawaii “Clean, Green and Beautiful.” The Outdoor Circle was responsible for keeping billboards out of the state of Hawaii. C.J. is a charter member and first soprano in the Kona Music Society’s 65 member Chorus. She enjoys traveling abroad & interacting with and learning the culture and history of the people of the world!
